The Advisory Committee on Cervical Screening (ACCS) met on Thursday 21 June 2012 in the Olivier Room, Wellington House, London. The following issues were discussed:
- Update on NHS reforms, including transition of NHS Cancer Screening Programmes into Public Health England
- Future of ACCS
- Screening in women aged under 25
- HPV issues
- Consultation on revised NHSCSP information materials
- Action to tackle the falling participation of younger women aged 25 to 35
- Establishing a focus group to test the idea of HIV discussions at cytology appointments
